The various commercial and recreational bodies and organisations representing the broad spectrum of water-based tourism and leisure interests are outlined in this section.

Commercial bodies provide support for the various businesses within the water-based tourism and leisure sector. They represent the combined interests of the sector with regard to maintaining service standards and fostering opportunities for further business development. These bodies give the relevant sub-sectors a unified voice.

Recreational bodies provide an invaluable support service to the relevant local clubs and their membership. They also take responsibility for the general development of the sport.
